Piero and Lucille created two foundations, one in Milan, Italy (Fondazione Piero e Lucille Corti Onlus) and one in Montreal, Canada (Teasdale-Corti Foundation). Both were established to ensure the continuity of healthcare, training and the growth of the Lacor Hospital.
Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Cariparma, Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena, opening a table of joint planning with the implementing partners, took part to the design phase and will be active in the management of the interventions. Thus confirming that the former - banking Foundations live a new area with a direct committment in actions, with a strong involvement at the strategic and a new vision apart from the logic of assigning and distributing grants. Strongly convinced that it is more and more important for the success of major initiatives to work in partnership, having major resources at the disposal of projects.
